    Frequently Asked Questions

    All the FAQs for Georgia

    What about my fitness/health?

Being in good shape is a must as well as having good health. For this, it is best to see your GP. They will be able to give you the right advice. We also work together with tankantwerpen.be. You can contact them for a bike fit, a full cardiological check-up and a training programme.

How many participants are in the group?

The group consists of 12 to 18 participants. We deliberately keep the groups small, which makes us more agile and allows you to form a real group. For the Colombia trips, our groups are limited to 16 participants. For Georgia, 14 participants

Are there any age limits for the trips?

Minimum age is 18 years, there is no maximum age. As long as your health allows, you can join.

    How about insurance?

Everyone takes their own travel insurance. Why? Often, you already have good insurance and it is a waste to pay twice. It is important to check carefully whether your insurance covers repatriation for the countries in question. In addition, it is interesting to provide cancellation insurance.

    Where do we sleep?

We sleep alternately in tents, local guesthouses, and ecolodges. On the rest day and the last day, we pamper ourselves a bit more. The luggage is transported from place A to B by jeep. So you don't have to carry your luggage on the bike.

    What do we eat?

Lots of tasty, local, and fresh food. In the morning an egg, lunch on the way, delicious tomatoes, avocados, mango, etc... and as an energizer: plenty of bananas. We have dinner at our accommodation, from oven-baked pizzas, freshly caught fish to a nice barbecue. We obviously consider vegetarians.

How much are you paying for this adventure?

The total price depends on the period and the country. Before departure to:

Colombia Winter edition Jan 2025: €3,550 + €320 bike rental*** or €460 bike transport**

    MTB or gravel bike?

The course can be done by either MTB or gravel bike. Depending on the destination, there may be variation in the course and the suitable bike. We recommend using wider tyres for extra grip and comfort if needed. Your own bike flies with us or you can rent an MTB on site.
